Luxembourg - Unions warn of mobilisation - February 28, 2026
The OGBL and LCGB trade unions could take to the streets again if the Government does not listen to them and abandon what LCGB president called its “rather liberal attitude” towards labour relations. In a joint letter to the Prime Minister, the unions said that they regret the “past two lost years” of labour policy talks and the way in which the Government has been advising and deciding policy. In an unprecedented move last year, the two unions formed an alliance under the ‘Union des syndicats OGBL et LCGB’ banner.
