Luxembourg - New agreement for hospital staff - March 31, 2026

A new collective agreement has been concluded in the hospital sectors. OGBL and LCGB unions signed the agreement with employers following negotiations aimed at addressing labour shortages and improving working conditions. The agreement in the hospital sector, covering around 10,000 workers, provides a one-off bonus equivalent to 3.79% of annual gross salary for 2025. It also includes a modest general pay increase through a 0.69% rise in the value of the index point, resulting in a small uplift in monthly wages across the sector. Additional measures include adjustments to career scales and extra index points for certain categories.
