Lithuania - Union responds to Government programme - August 31, 2026

The Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK) published its assessment of the incoming "XXI Government Programme". LPSK welcomed the programme's stated focus on economic growth, competitiveness and stronger public services, and noted its commitments to strengthening collective labour relations and expanding unions’ bargaining capacity. However, the confederation warned that "commitments on paper are not enough — they must be translated into concrete actions."
