Lithuania - Tripartite council discusses travel expenses - January 31, 2026
On 20 January, a meeting of the Tripartite Council (TT) was held, where social partners and Government representatives discussed issues of importance to employees and the public sector - from travel expenses to the proportion of managerial employees in budgetary institutions. The meeting was chaired by the interim head of the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK). Among others, at the meeting a draft Government resolution was presented on amending the payment of daily allowances and other business trip expenses, which proposes to clarify the procedure for paying daily allowances and the conditions for compensating business trip expenses.
