Liechtenstein - Parliament passes petition on gender equality - March 31, 2026

Parliament debated a petition by LANV union on equal pay. The goal is to introduce comprehensive wage analyses and create binding measures to effectively reduce existing pay disparities. Parliament ultimately referred the petition to the Government for consideration by a vote of 16 out of 23. This decision sends an important signal that the issue of equal pay is being taken seriously and will be addressed further.
