Latvia - New collective agreement at housing management company - May 31, 2026

On 18 May 2026, the transport and public-services union LAKRS reported that a new collective agreement had been reached at Jēkabpils namu pārvalde, the municipal housing management company in Jēkabpils. The union described the agreement as a concrete step towards better conditions and greater security for employees. According to LAKRS, the agreement provides stronger social guarantees, clearer working conditions, better employee protection and a more predictable working environment.
