Italy - Workers vote on agreement for paper industry - March 31, 2026

The renewal of the national collective agreement for the paper and paper processing sector has reached its decisive stage. After the draft agreement was signed on February 10, workers can express their opinion by March 13. This consultation will determine the confirmation of the planned wage increases, which affect approximately 80,000 workers. The agreement includes an overall wage increase of 14.8%; a total increase of approximately € 291, of which € 275 will be allocated to minimum wages; the remainder will be allocated to strengthening welfare and supplementary pensions.
