Italy - Unions launch platform for collective bargaining - June 30, 2026
CGIL, CISL and UIL unions agreed on a common platform for a new interconfederal framework agreement with employers’ associations. The proposal covers the collective bargaining model, wage growth, trade-union and employer representation, action against contract dumping, training, health and safety, and worker participation. The confederations argue that clearer rules are needed to make bargaining procedures more certain and to ensure recognition of the most representative organisations, including through certified measurement of membership and workplace election results.
