Italy - Central Government collective agreement signed - June 30, 2026

The national collective agreement for the Central Functions sector for 2025–2027 has been signed. The agreement covers ministries, tax agencies and non-economic public bodies. FLP described the renewal as a step forward for pay, rights and professional recognition, while noting that some problems remained, especially full recovery of purchasing power lost to inflation. The consecutive signing of the agteements for the three-year periods 2022-2024 and 2025-2027 has resulted in an overall salary recovery of more than 11%. This increase is in addition to the increases in the Decentralized Resources Funds and Administrative Allowances, financed through specific regulatory measures and additional allocations.
