Italy - Agreement for the tertiary, retail and services sector - January 31, 2026

The new National Collective Agreement for the tertiary, retail, and services sector has been signed. The agreement applies to employees of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, with the aim of combining the economic sustainability of companies with strengthened worker protections. It is in effect from 29 December 2025, to 28 December 2028. The social partners have focused on a unified and simplified contractual framework, capable of providing certainty on labour costs while simultaneously enhancing human capital.
