Italy - Agreement for laundry workers - May 31, 2026

A draft agreement has been reached for the renewal of the 2026-2028 national collective bargaining agreement for Industrial Laundries. The agreement, signed by Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl, and Uiltec Uil with Assosistema Confindustria, affects approximately 25,000 workers in over 1,200 companies in the tourism and healthcare sectors. An overall average increase of € 188 is expected, with a minimum increase of 9.8%, in addition to significant measures regarding welfare, working hours, health and safety, and rights.
