Germany - Collective agreement in the lime and dolomite industry - June 30, 2026

Employees in the lime and dolomite industry on the right bank of the Rhine and in Westphalia have a new collective agreement. The unions IG BAU and IGBCE and the employers reached this agreement on 3 June. All parties have approved the agreement. Wages will increase in two stages: From 1 June 2026, incomes will increase by 3%. Trainees will receive an additional € 50 per year of training. A further 3% increase will follow on 1 July 2027. Apprenticeship allowances will also increase again by € 50 per year of training. Overall, this results in a 6% increase in income. The collective agreement runs until 31 July 2028.
