Germany - Agreement in Bavarian wholesale and foreign trade - August 31, 2026

Union ver.di welcomes the collective agreement reached on 21 July 2026, in the wholesale and foreign trade sector in Bavaria. The agreement provides for a total increase in collectively agreed wages of 5%. Wages will rise by 2.9% on 1 August 2026, and by a further 2.1% on 1 May 2027. The collective agreement has a term of 24 months. Trainees benefit disproportionately from the agreement. Their remuneration will be increased by € 40 on 1 September 2026, and by a further € 30 on 1 September 2027.
