Germany - Agreement for the electrical trades in Berlin-Brandenburg - August 31, 2026

Union IG Metall Berlin-Brandenburg-Saxony and the Berlin/Brandenburg State Guild Association of Electrical and Information Technology Trades have reached a collective agreement. Wages in the electrical trades will increase in two stages starting 1 January 2027. The standard hourly wage for pay grade E6 will rise to € 20.10 on January 1, 2027, representing an increase of 3.06%. On 1 January 2028, it will increase to € 20.70 per hour. The other pay grades will increase accordingly. Apprentice wages will also increase in two stages. The collective agreement runs for 24 months until 31 December 2028. The agreement for trainees is valid until 31 August 2029.
