Following intensive discussions, the unions IG BAU and IGBCE and the employers reached an agreement in the third round of negotiations that provides security and income increases despite challenging economic conditions. Full-time employees will receive a one-off payment of € 1,000 gross with their July 2026 paychecks. Trainees will receive € 350 gross. Members of IG BCE and IG BAU will receive an additional union bonus. Full-time employees will receive € 200 gross, and trainees € 50 gross in December 2026. Wages will increase by 3% on 1 January 2027.
