France - Inter-union mobilisation at Louvre - February 28, 2026
An inter-union group of CFDT, CGT and SUD at the Louvre museum mobilised employees and demanded direct engagement with management. The inter-union coalition argued that working conditions and institutional governance required urgent solutions. Staff members gathered in a general assembly unanimously renewed their strike notice, due to the lack of sufficient responses to their demands. The mobilization has once again led to the near-total closure of the museum.
