Finland - Unions publish goals for parliamentary elections - April 30, 2026

Trade Union JHL has published its key goals for the parliamentary elections in 2027. JHL demands a change of course. The world of work needs major corrective measures, and employment security has to be restored. The current Government has eroded employees’ security, and at the same time it has sought to increase labour flexibility to the benefit of the employers. JHL has three key goals for the next parliamentary term. The overall objective is to make the world of work better rather than deteriorate it. SAK union is calling for the next Parliament to restore labour market confidence and guide the nation back into the Nordic mainstream.
