Finland - Negotiation result for health service sector - May 31, 2026

The collective agreement negotiations of the health services sector have ended with a negotiation result. The previous agreement expired at the end of April. Salaries will be increased by a total of 5.3% during the agreement period, from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2028. The parties have the option to terminate the agreement on 30 April 2027. In accordance with the general labour market policy, wages will be increased by a total of 2.9% in 2026 and by a total of 2.4% in 2027. Terveyspalvelualan Unioni, formed by trade unions JHL, Akavan Sairaanhoitajat ja Taja, Jyty and others, negotiated the result. The employers are represented by the Finnish Association of Private Care Providers (HALI).
