Finland - Dispute on social services agreement continues after proposal by conciliator - February 28, 2026
The Trade Union for the Public and Welfare Sectors JHL continues its actions for the terms and conditions of employment of its members who work in the private social services sector. JHL is not included in the negotiation result that was announced on 27 February and JHL’s strike warnings for 3–5 March 2026 and 10–12 March 2026 continue to apply. SuPer, the largest union in the private social services sector agreed with the second settlement proposal by the National Conciliator. The agreement includes a general pay increase of 2.7% on 1 September 2026 and a second pay rise of 2.7% on 1 September 2027.
