EU Sources - Commission opens second-phase consultation on Quality Jobs Act - August 31, 2026

The European Commission has launched the second-phase consultation with European social partners on the upcoming Quality Jobs Act. The initiative aims to improve working conditions, health and safety and workers’ rights across the EU. The Commission is asking social partners for views on five priority areas for future EU action, including algorithmic management and artificial intelligence at work, workers’ rights in subcontracting chains and enforcement and role of social partners.
