Denmark - Strong approval of public sector agreement - May 31, 2026

State sector workers, including administrative staff, nurses and skilled workers represented by HK, Dansk Metal and the Danish Nurses’ Organisation and other unions under CFU/OAO frameworks, have approved the OK26 collective agreements. Across the state sector, 88.55% of HK Stat members voted in favour, with around 88.3% of members across organisations approving the settlement. The agreements cover state administration, health services, technical professions and other public service groups. The agreement provides wage increases of around 6.37% over three years, with an initial 1.29% increase effective from 1 April 2026, plus further staged increases.
