Denmark - Nurses win settlement with Armed Forces - May 31, 2026

The Danish Nurses’ Council (DSR) reached a settlement with the Armed Forces after nurses in the defence sector waited five months to receive agreed wage and pension increases under a new collective agreement. The case involved nurses represented by the Danish Nurses’ Council. The dispute arose after a collective agreement that entered into force on 1 April 2025 was not implemented within the expected timeframe, delaying salary and pension improvements for affected workers. A settlement has now been reached between the parties, ending the case before a court ruling.
