Denmark - Dairy producer refuses to apply collective agreement - May 31, 2026
Foreign agricultural interns over the age of 25 at a South Jutland dairy producer have to make do with almost 3,000 kroner (€ 401) less in salary each month because they are not covered by the leading collective agreement in the area. The employer refuses to sign the collective agreement of 3F on the grounds that there already is a collective agreement with KA (Christian Employers' Association). 3F initiated a conflict against the farmer to get the signature on 3F's collective agreement. 3F points out that the conditions are worse under the KA collective agreement, including for foreign interns in the highly debated internship scheme.
