Denmark - Collective agreement for private schools approved - June 30, 2026

HK Privat union announced that members employed at private schools had approved a new collective agreement between HK Privat and Aftaleenheden. The agreement was adopted with 95.2% voting in favour. It includes general wage increases of 1.29% from 1 April 2026, 0.65% from 1 August 2026, 1.88% from 1 April 2027 and 2.55% from 1 April 2028, with possible post-adjustment linked to the CFU settlement. The agreement also introduces a free-choice scheme from 2028, improves senior-day rights, and raises monthly allowances for union representatives and health-and-safety representatives from 2027.
