Czechia - 9% higher salary for public service workers - April 30, 2026

Public service workers received a 9% increase in collectively agreed wages from 1 April, following negotiations between the Government and trade unions including OS SOO and sectoral unions within ČMKOS, such as OSZSP ČR. The agreement increases collective agreed base wages across salary tables, which determine pay by grade and length of service. The main table covers most public service workers, while the civil service table applies to central state administration with separate classification and progression rules.
