Croatia - New agreements for employment service and county employees - May 31, 2026

The State and Local Government Employees’ Union (SDLSN) signed a new collective agreement for workers at the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ). The agreement provides additional rights beyond the Basic Collective Agreement for Public Services and the Labour Act, including additional paid leave and reimbursement of chamber fees for psychologists. SDLSN also concluded a new collective agreement covering civil servants and workers in the administrative bodies of Zadar County. The agreement maintains existing rights while improving material and working conditions, including an increase in the salary calculation base to € 830 and additional annual leave entitlements.
