Croatia - Finalising implementation of EU Pay Transparency Directive - June 30, 2026
The Government is still completing the legislative changes needed to fully implement the EU Pay Transparency Directive into national law. The Labour Minister said at the end of May that amendments to the Labour Act were in the final stages of preparation before being submitted to Parliament. The proposed changes are expected to include mandatory publication of salary ranges in job advertisements, employees’ rights to information about pay and promotion criteria, and reporting obligations for larger employers regarding pay differences between men and women in comparable positions.
