Bulgaria - Salaries in budget sector up 5% - January 31, 2026
Salaries in the budget sector are being raised by 5%. The expectations are that they will be paid retroactively in February. This was said by the outgoing Deputy Minister of Finance in response to a question from the President of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) regarding the implementation of the so-called extension law on the budget. The topic was raised during the meeting of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation (NCTC).
