Austria - New agreement in pest control - January 31, 2026

The negotiation parties, including the vida union, reached a new agreement for workers and apprentices in the pest control industry. The core of the agreement is a 3.6% wage increase for all pay grades. Beyond the wage adjustment, the social partners have agreed to establish a framework collective bargaining working group. The goal is to develop clear career prospects and sustainably strengthen apprenticeship training in pest control. The working group is expected to deliver its findings by the end of 2027.
