Austria - New agreement for milling industry - August 31, 2026

A new collective agreement has been reached for workers in the milling industry. The collectively agreed minimum wages will increase by an average of 2.74% to € 2,610.50. An average wage increase of 8.31% was achieved for apprentices. In addition, seniority allowances increase by 2%, and meal allowances and any other supplements by 2.6%. The existing euro-based overpayment will be maintained. An agreement has been reached on an employee bonus of € 150; this also applies to apprentices. The new agreement will be effective as of 1 August 2026, and has a duration of 12 months.
