Austria - New agreement for hospital - June 30, 2026

The vida union has successfully negotiated a collective agreement for the employees of the Diakonissen Hospitals in Linz and Schladming. In addition to salary and allowance increases, the agreement secures extra days off, improvements for older employees, and a fairer system for crediting professional experience. Salaries and allowances will be increased by 3.4%. For employees of the Linz hospital, the increase will take effect on 1 August 2026, and for employees in Schladming on 1 October 2026. Apprentices’ compensation will increase by 3.7%. All employees will receive one additional vacation day per year.
