Austria - Higher wages in animal feed industry - August 31, 2026

The PRO-GE union has reached an agreement for workers in the animal feed industry. It includes an average increase of 2.64% in the collectively agreed minimum wages to € 2,131.00; an increase of 2.63% in seniority bonuses; a disproportionate increase in all apprentice salaries with an average increase of 4.78%. The agreement is effective as of 1 August 2026, and has a term of 12 months.
