Austria - Final offer for retail workers - January 31, 2026

The fourth round of collective negotiations for retail workers did not produce a breakthrough. However, the vida union's negotiating team successfully averted key deteriorations in the framework agreement. The current offer includes wage increases of 2.55% for all pay grades. Improvements were also achieved for individual allowances: the cold weather allowance will increase by 4.65%, and the night shift allowance by 4.35%. Employees will now have the final say.
