The collectively agreed minimum wages will be increased retroactively by 2.4% as of 1 May, as will apprentice wages. Actual wages will be raised by 1.8% plus € 28, resulting in sustainable wage increases of 2.65% on average for blue-collar workers and up to 2.75% for the lowest-paid employees. The negotiations lasted a total of six weeks and involved six rounds of talks.
