Austria - Agreement for leather industry - April 30, 2026

The PRO-GE union has reached a collective agreement for employees in the leather goods and luggage industry. The agreement at a glance: 2.9% of wages stipulated in the collective agreement; maintenance of the existing overpayment; 2.9% increase in apprentice wages; 2.9% increase in allowances, bonuses, and premiums. The new minimum wage is € 2,058.00. Effective date: 1 June 2026 for a term of 12 months.
