Austria - Agreement for insurance staff - March 31, 2026

In the third round of negotiations, union GPA reached a collective agreement with employer representatives for insurance employees. The collectively agreed minimum wages for field staff will increase by 3.3%. Office staff will see an average increase of 3.1%. The monthly increase of 2.6% plus € 20 provides for a socially tiered system. In addition, key improvements to the framework agreement were achieved: a new salary grade and two additional days of special leave strengthen the recognition of professional experience, and the expansion of leave for caring for relatives improves work-life balance.
