Austria - Agreement for footwear industry - April 30, 2026

Union PRO-GE reached a collective agreement for employees in the footwear industry. The results in detail: 2.9% increase in collectively agreed minimum wages, which means that a € 2,000 minimum wage is achieved with this agreement; 2.5% increase in actual wages, 2.9% increase in apprentice wages, and 2.9% increase in allowances and bonuses. The agreement is effective from 1 June 2026 for 12 months.
