Austria - 3.3% pay rise for machinery ring - March 31, 2026

Union Pro-Ge reached a new agreement at the wage negotiations for the workers of the Machinery Ring Service Cooperative in Styria, which took place on 23 March 2026. Wage rates will be increased by 3.3%. Trainee compensation will also be increased by 3.3%. There will be new regulations for time off in lieu (same as vacation). The new minimum wage will be € 1,972.79. The agreement is effective from 1 April 2026 for a term of 12 months. On 11 March a similar agreement was reached for the Machinery Ring Service Cooperative in Lower Austria.
