The newly-signed collective agreement covers wage increases, improved working conditions and social rights. Following the employer's failure to respond positively to workers' demands during the negotiations, which had been ongoing for months and reached a critical stage, the General Executive Board of Birleşik Metal-İŞ decided to go on strike on 30 October 2025.
