Sweden - Union issues new notice linked to Tesla conflict - December 31, 2025
IF Metall union announced additional conflict measures related to the long‑running dispute with Tesla over signing a collective agreement. The conflict over Tesla's refusal to sign a collective agreement continues to escalate. In recent months, a long series of new industrial actions have been initiated by both IF Metall and other unions, with the aim of bringing Tesla to the negotiating table. The latest action concerns work at the body shop Belami plåt & Lack AB in Linköping and Norrköping. The notice includes a total work stoppage and blockade of all work that is ordered or has been ordered by TM Sweden AB (Tesla) on Tesla's own cars, as well as work covered by factory warranty and transport damage on Tesla cars.
