Slovakia - Draft law on pay transparency - November 30, 2025
The Government introduced a draft law aimed at implementing greater pay-transparency in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive. Employers will have to disclose pay criteria and provide written information on pay levels and increases — even job-applicants must receive details ahead of interviews. Unions welcomed the move as a step towards fairer wage development but say it must be paired with stronger collective bargaining coverage.
