Serbia - Unions demand restart of social dialogue - November 30, 2025
The Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia (SSSS) has given the Government a 15-day deadline to restart meaningful social dialogue. The confederation warns that wage compression in public services and continuing dismissals in the real sector require urgent attention. Without progress, it will resort to all legitimate trade union actions to defend the rights of workers. SSSS demands proportional increases in all wages following the rise in the minimum wage, a halt to dismissals, and the revival of collective bargaining in the real sector to rebuild coverage and secure agreements.
