Poland - New act on collective bargaining - November 30, 2025
The Parliament passed the Act on Collective Bargaining Agreements and Collective Agreements on 5 November 2025. The Act introduces fundamental changes in the way agreements between employers and trade unions are documented and made available. For the first time, the legislator has decided that some of these agreements will be subject to registration in the National Register of Collective Bargaining Agreements (KEUZP). The reporting obligation will apply to a wide range of agreements concluded on the basis of the provisions of the Labour Code and specific acts, including those concerning the temporary suspension of the application of labour law, the temporary application of less favourable employment conditions, remote work, application of intermittent working time, extension of the settlement period or night work.
