Netherlands - Bargaining result for maternity care - November 30, 2025
A negotiated result has been reached for the Maternity Care collective agreement. The deal includes pay increases in 2025 and 2026 and new agreements on on-call shifts. Pay increases will be 4% as of 1 August 2025, and 3.5% as of 1 July 2026. The collective agreement runs until 31 August 2026. Over a three-year period, there will be a 7.5% salary increase. According to FNV union, the position of maternity nurses requires further improvement. The union will continue to lobby for this in politics and the media.
