Netherlands - Agreement for painters - November 30, 2025

After the seventh round of negotiations, the unions reached a result for the new collective agreement for painters. The benefits for employees at all stages of their careers are maximized, with good pay and supplementary agreements. The duration of the agreement is 3 years and 2 months from 1 November 2025 until 31 December 2028. The agreement includes automatic price indexation, so purchasing power is maintained. In addition, there will be a 3.2% improvement in purchasing power. On 1 January 2026, wages will increase by inflation +1.2%, on 1 January 2027, by inflation +1% and on 1 January 2028, by inflation +1%.
