Netherlands - Agreement for construction finishing industry - December 31, 2025

On 15 December, after intensive discussions with the employers, the unions reached a result for the collective agreement for the finishing industry. In addition to wage increases, agreements were made for both older and younger employees. Duration of the collective agreement is 2 years, from 1 January 2026, to 31 December 2027. The pay increase will be 3.5% as of 1 February 2026, and € 30 per month as of 1 April 2026. As of 1 January 2027, wages will be raised according to inflation + 1%. In case of illness, from 2027 payment of wages will be continued at 90% in the first year (now 85%) and 80% in the second year (now 85%).
