Malta - New agreement for state office - December 31, 2025

A new collective agreement has been signed between the Joint Office (Ufficcju Kongunt) and the General Workers Union (GWU), through which workers will benefit from an increase in their wages and the introduction of new allowances. The Joint Office was established by the 1991 agreement between the State and the Holy See, with the aim, among others, of administering the transferred property and registering the property on behalf of the Government.
