Malta - New agreement for Land Authority workers - November 30, 2025
A new collective agreement between the Land Authority and the General Worker’s Union (GWU) will benefit around 200 employees through wage increases and the introduction of new allowances. The agreement, covering the period 2025-2028, aims to enhance workers’ financial packages while also providing clearer guidance on working conditions. GWU General Secretary highlighted that the union signed two agreements on the day - one for professionals and another for technicians and administrators. He said the improved conditions offer workers clearer direction, more opportunities to develop their skills and a stronger sense of professionalism and fairness within the Authority.
