Latvia - Dismissals at airline company - November 30, 2025
Airline company SmartLynx Airlines is currently in the process of collective dismissal of employees, which is being dressed up in a "parties' agreement" document, according to the Latvian Aviation Trade Union, which represents both flight attendants and office workers. According to the trade union, the employees were informed that they can sign an agreement between the parties on the termination of employment relations, which provides for the payment of wages for the period worked until 24 November, as well as compensation for unused annual paid leave.
