Ireland - Action plan to strengthen collective bargaining - November 30, 2025
The Government launched its Action Plan to Promote Collective Bargaining 2026–2030, aimed at raising bargaining coverage, strengthening union organisation and supporting low‑paid workers. The plan aligns with EU Minimum Wage Directive but keeps the voluntary model intact. Unions welcomed the plan but criticised its lack of enforcement mechanisms.
